Liverpool Breakfasts (*hands up admiration emoji) and Chilling with the Boys.

Last week I had the privilege of living and working in Liverpool. My sister, Jenny, lives there and works as a top class estate agent so I tried my hand at it. I wasn't great but loved snooping around all the swanky apartment, wearing heels and pretending to be a pro.

What a city though! I LOVE Liverpool. There is so much going on there and the Docks and buildings are beautiful. After dinner drinks at The Clubhouse were divine. I mean who doesn't love cocktails on tap. There was a live duo of two guys who were beautiful singers, i didn't catch their name which is such a shame as they were awesome.

Additionally there is such a wealth of culture in Liverpool and not just because it is the home of the Beatles. Note picture of me looking like the ultimate tourist, may have embarrassed the sis a teeny bit. We went on a Dazzle Ferry. I thought it was just a boat painted all psychedelically as a homage to the 70s but I learnt so much about the relevance of the design in Naval history. Liverpool is also home to the stunning Liver Building and crazy Lambananas, alas i do not know the story behind them.

The main thing i want to talk about though is the breakfast we had. Yes food is my main concern in life. I don't understand people who don't love food. Breakfast food is by far my fave, such a classic avocado worshipper. On Friday morning my sister took me to this place called Moose Coffee. It is am American breakfast restaurant, serving breakfast all day. Deffinately my kind of place. But boy oh boy did it exceed my expectations. We were lucky to get a table as they were rammed and we were happy to sit on one of the outside tables as it was a nice day, the interior looked so pretty though. The man who served us was the sweetest French guy and was very helpful when ordering. This was an important skill of his as the menu was the most extensive breakfast menu I had ever seen. Think, eggs, waffles, pancakes, french toast, wraps, sandwiches, even burgers. MOUTH. WATER. ING.

My sister went for the Double Dutch. This was two huge american style pancakes stuffed with smoked sausage and bacon, topped with two eggs, maple syrup and butter. Ok so not exactly healthy..... but we had finished a hard week (hard ish). I went for their homemade granola which i agree sounds BORING in comparison to Jenny's choice but the waiter assured me it was good as they make it themselves. It wasn't good. IT WAS INSANE. How can granola taste so good, I don't even know. It was roasted almonds pecans and rolled oats coated in nutmeg and cinnamon and sweetened with honey. Served with greek yogurt and fresh berries. I am legit hungry right now writing about it. The granola was warm, clearly out of the oven that morning. My oh my it was peng. Jenny's food was also lovely and neither of us could finish as the portions are huge. I would suggest sharing next time as it was also quite expensive.... so worth it but my granola was £7.50 and Jenny's Pancakes were £8.00, plus our coffee our breakfast came to £20.

Highly, Highly recommend. And yes I would go as far to say that is was the best breakfast I ever had, hence the blog post dedicated to it. Thank you Liverpool and Jenny for a lovely week!
